I love a good long cardigan as an extra layer when it’s cold inside. The Rathnelly cardigan from Patons uses a fuzzy, bulky yarn for extra coziness.
It’s a pretty simple drop shoulder design, worked mostly in Stockinette Stitch with folded over hems. It’s available in four sizes that fit a range of people with more or less ease (the pattern says the range is from 28 to 62 inches, with an actual bust measurement of the garment ranging from 46 to 64 inches).
You can grab the free pattern from the Yarnspirations website.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
