I usually try to stick to things that are actually knit when I share projects over here, but some people use yarn in other crafty ways that are worth noting.
Like this spring wreath featured at CraftsNCoffee, which uses bright yellow Homespun as the background for a pretty bird’s nest with lots of details.
Making wreaths or wrapping just about anything in yarn is a great way to pare down your stash quickly, especially if you have some “how did that get there?” balls in colors you wouldn’t normally work with.
It reminds me of my pom-pom wreath, which I made for winter but you could really do in different colors for just about any time of year.
Do you like to use yarn in home decor projects that aren’t knit? I’d love to hear your ideas.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Thanks so much for sharing!
