Here’s another new knitting collection for you to feast your eyes and your needles on, especially if you like shoulders.
The fall/winter 2013 Holla Knits collection puts a big emphasis on those body parts, with projects that have colorwork and other embellishments in that area.
My faves in this six pattern collection are the Eastwood Cardigan, which has lacy fronts and stripy arms; and Rolling Thunder, a three-quarter sleeved sweater with an American Indian inspired bird motif on the shoulders.
Patterns can be purchased separately for $6, or get the whole collection for $18. I love Holla Knits not just because the patterns are lots of fun, but also because they’re shown in two different kinds of yarn, which helps you see some of the design possibilities (as well as helping you out if you’re on a budget).
See anything you like? I’d love to hear about your favorites.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
