After mentioning yesterday that I’m really not thinking about knitting for fall and winter yet, I thought I would share some sweater patterns for those of you who are already pointing your needles in that direction.
First off, check out these 22 Super Cozy Knit Sweater Patterns collected at All Free Knitting. There was also a collection I mentioned earlier this month of sweaters that will make you wish it were fall.
If you’re skeptical about knitting a sweater, I want to remind you that you probably already know everything you need to know in order to do it.
If you’re lacking confidence, maybe you should start with a baby sweater.
I also have collections of top-down and bottom-up patterns, as well as tips on how to add stability to seamless pattern by adding your own seams. And don’t miss this tip for easier shoulder seams, one of the most popular posts ever on this site.
Do you have a go-to sweater pattern or one you’re looking forward to knitting this year? I’d love to hear about it! (I’m still working on what was supposed to be a summer sweater, so we’ll see.)
