Le Pouf is a super cute, simple cardigan with puffy sleeves designed by Beata Jezek of Hedgehog Fibers.
It’s made more interesting by holding two strands of yarn together and working a fade design (instead of striping you change one strand of yarn at a time so they shift or fade together).
Of course you can do the same thing using the same color throughout for a solid effect, or you can just knit stripes if you don’t want to figure out the fade for yourself (the pattern offers general guidelines if you’ve never worked a fade before or just want some guidance).
This looks like a great garment for fall whether you fade it or make it with the same yarn throughout.
What do you think of the fade trend?
