There’s something kind of classic about the design of the Wandelbos socks by Mieka John, even though the stripes and color blocking on them is a little unconventional.
The socks are worked from the toe up and uses a German short row heel. The color blocking is accomplished with intarsia worked in the round with provisional join. The pattern includes options for an ankle sock or a longer calf length.
It’s not a pattern for beginners since there are lots of techniques in here, but for a confident knitter with some experience with socks, these would be a lot of fun.
You can get the pattern on Ravelry.
