We all love recycling and upcycling in our crafting, and this idea from Fan of Stuff is a good one.
She took a piece of a plastic drink bottle and used it as an insert for a cable knit bracelet.
This makes the bracelet a big more chunky and substantial than just knitting a bracelet would be, and it keeps a little bit of plastic out of the trash.
It’s a pretty easy project, too, if you’re new to cable knitting. Nice.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Awesome.
Thanks so much for featuring my bracelet! I’ve got another on my needles right now to use up my leftover bottles.
