Last week I shared some fun chick knitting projects with you, and over the weekend my colleague Linda sent me this new one from the Purl Bee.
The Chick-in-an-Egg is an egg-shaped chick with a funny expression that you and your kids are sure to like. You could knit a bunch of them and hide them around the house, or maybe even bowl with them or come up with some kind of game to play with them.
Purl Soho sells a kit that will allow you to make a dozen of these little guys, but the pattern is also on the website so you can use them as a stash busting project with whatever yarn you already have on hand, so long as some of it is white and some of it is yellow.
So cute!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
These are adorable!
I am so happy you liked them, they are so cute 🙂
