I saw this one the other day in the Lion Brand newsletter and I knew I just had to share it. The Animal Talk Afghan, designed by Amy Bahrt, is a super cute blanket featuring a pig, sheep, duck and cow along with the sounds they make.
This would be such a great gift for a toddler who is just learning about animals and their sounds, or any animal-loving kid of any age.
Because it’s kind of a big project worked in intarsia, this is considered a project for intermediate knitters, but it sure would be worth the effort to learn intarsia if you didn’t already know it to make this adorable piece!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
I’m allergic to intarsia, but this is so darn cute!
