Do you ever browse through Ravelry? I do sometimes, just to see what’s trending and get some ideas for new things I might like to knit.
When I was looking at the trending knitting patterns earlier today I was first introduced to the lovely Zuzu’s Petals pattern by Carina Spencer.
The pattern is so clever because it looks like a lace shawl beautifully wrapped around your neck, but it’s actually a drapey cowl so you don’t have to worry about it falling off when you wear it.
It’s shown worked in a solid and a gradient yarn, with two different gauge options depending on the weight of yarn you want to use. It only uses about 220 yards of sport weight or 155 yards of worsted, so it’s a perfect use for a lovely single skein you might have in your stash.
The pattern retails for $5. It’s been knit more than 4,700 times and has a star rating of 4.6 on Ravelry. I think I’m going to buy this one soon.
Have you knit Zuzu’s Petals? I’d love to hear how it was for you!
